Can't believe we are so close to Christmas... I'm super excited this year since it will be Hudson's first year celebrating! Last year we didn't put up decorations because I was 38 weeks pregnant on xmas day and we weren't sure when little H would arrive... My mom has given my sisters and I a Santa every year for the past 8 years [mostly from Vaillancourt from Rodger's Gardens] and I love the sentiment behind my little collection. This year we bought these West Elm mongolian fur stockings and two gold glittered pinecone topiarys from PB for our mantel. Any fun decorations you've picked up this year? XOXO

So happy today is Friday even if it happens to land on the 13th [any superstitious people out there?]. I can't believe that Christmas is only 12 days away, the month of December has gone by so fast! This weekend, I'm hoping to finally start The Circle... I bought it awhile ago but haven't had the chance [or time] to sit done and read it. I'm the type of person that once I start a book I need to finish it within a day or two! I've also been using this Dr. Brandt duo and am loving both so far... unfortunately, my skin didn't react well to the Chanel lotions [from this post] so I'm hoping this is a better match for me. Hope your week is going well! On Sunday I went to a 4th annual Christmas brunch and gift exchange with my girlfriends [I gave this, this, this + this with the Starbucks gift card]. We always play the stealing game [draw numbers and then you pick gifts in that order by either stealing one that's been opened or you can choose a wrapped one] and I ended up with a great gift [this Williams Sonoma holiday candle and this awesome organic, vegan lotion]!
