Love Love Love Jessica Stam's looks from this week! Very refreshing how she keeps the hair and makeup low key but still brings high glam style. Obsession: Stella McCartney For Gap Kids

So naturally I just had to have something from Stella McCartney's new line for Gap, even if it was meant for kids! I fell in love with the snow leopard tunic sweater featured in the ad, especially after learning it was modeled after a sweater from her line, Stella McCartney. Added bonus is that it is 70% cashmere!

The sweater is super soft and cozy and is a heather grey with a little bit of light pink detail.

For sizing I got the kids XL (12 yr. old) and it fits perfectly, I even could have sized down but I like the length of the sleeves and the fact that it is on the longer side. It is already sold out in most stores but it is still available online for $98.

Fabulous Fur: American Eagle

Sorry for the lack of posts this past week, I've been so busy with work and have been exhausted! Anyways, I found the most perfect fur vest from American Eagle at such an affordable price thanks to my friend Amber! I put together a few outfits to give an idea of different ways to wear it besides the given jeans and a t-shirt: florals and fur, what's not to love?!

The vest is currently sold out online but keep checking back, I'm sure it will pop up again soon!

Halloween Countdown!

Yes, my Mommy still gives me a Halloween basket and a Hello Kitty one to be exact :)... It included a Jo Malone bath oil set, Barnes and Noble gift card, candy, Hanky Pankys, a cute notepad, rhinestone nail file and some other little things.

I'm loving the blue as seen on Rachel Bilson but the grey/pink combo is the one that is really talking to me... I saw it in stores a few weeks ago and it is gorgeous! Sadly, the price tag is not...

Where The Wild Things Are: Blake Lively

Blake looked absolutely amazing at the premiere of Where The Wild Things Are- this is most definitely my favorite dress from Marchesa Spring 2010. It reminds me somewhat of a lacey/elegant/peacock/ ballerina (hehe). I wish that 1.) I had somewhere to wear this to and 2.) that I could afford it... Inspiration pics until both of the previous statements happen.

I've been searching for the Chloe Riding Boots in camel size 38.5 with no luck...The Chloe boutiques didn't carry this color and all Barneys NYC department stores are sold out. Please post a link in the comments section if you can help a sister out! I tried on the black at Barneys but like the camel color so much better...must find these!

New Obsession: Lanvin Ballet Flats

While at Barneys NYC in Beverly Hills today, I tried on a bunch of shoes for fun and fell in love with the Lanvin ballet flats! I tried on the top pair but in gold instead of bronze and am obsessed- not only are they super cute but also very comfortale and practical. Hoping to pick up a pair while in NYC this weekend or for Christmas (time to start a list!).

My Goodies: Juicy and Jennifer Zeuner

This past week I got some fun, free goodies at work! My awesome boss gave me an extra Juicy Couture Faux Fur Jacket that I was seriously drooling over- best boss ever :) ! It fits perfectly and will be a great piece to help transition some of my more Summery items to Fall.

I was also able to pick out any piece I wanted from the Jennifer Zeuner jewelry line and choose the Rose Gold/Diamond Hamsa Necklace (thanks Yael!). So excited for the little pick me ups this week!

So so so jealous of Blake Lively's Balmain Fall 2009 dress that she wore to the Emmy after parties. This shit is fierce. I obviously won't be able to afford a Balmain anytime soon (some dresses are around $13,000!!!) but I most definitely can appreciate them from afar. Gossip girl would be proud.

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards were definitely interesting last night (Kanye anyone?).  I was totally loving the Madonna/Janet opening and Beyonce's "Single Ladies" performance.  On the red carpet I have to give props to Kristin Cavallari.  She looked great and very appropriate in a sparkly, silver mini dress.  Best dressed in my opinion.

And the honorable mentions go to...

 

Olivia Palermo: Classy in Susan Woo.  Beyonce: Love the detail of her red Roberto Cavalli mini.  Taylor Swift: Glam and goregous (but a little over dressed) in a one shoulder gown.

Totally dying for my new Tory Burch Flapper Satchel!  I feel in love with it when I saw it at Bergdorf's in NYC last week and decided to go for it.  It's hard to tell in these pics but the material is kind of a worn in suede- perfect to transition from Summer to Fall!  I also like that the TB logo isn't too intense (just the little emblem on one side of the bag).

Fashion Flashback: Michelle Williams

 

 

Circa 2006 Michelle Williams could do no wrong in my eyes.  The mustard yellow Vera Wang at the Academy Awards was impeccable with the red lips and perfectly coiffed hair.  The layered purple Givenchy Haute Couture at the Golden Globes was definitely a princess moment (in a good way).  And finally, a creamy white Proenza Schouler rosette number at the SAG Awards continued to elevate her as one of my favorite fashionista.

Hot Right Now: Diane Kruger

  

Balmain. Marchesa (twice). Versace Atelier. Herve Leger. Miu Miu.  These are just some of the famous fashions houses that have dressed the style maven Diane Kruger in recent weeks.  Her wardrobe for the Inglorious Basterds press tour and premieres were fashion forward and most were mini length- exactly what we have come to except (and love) from the girl of the moment.

    

Btw, she is fabulous in the movie!  Definitely a must see.
