White Hot For Summer

I am loving how white can be worn in so many ways, it's definitely my staple color in my summer wardrobe.  All of these ladies prove it looks especially great with fabulous shoes, a summer tan and beachy highlights.  The pics say it all.

Cameron Diaz in J. Mendel at the NYC My Sister's Keeper premiere

Michelle Williams in 3.1 Phillip Lim at the 2009 Fresh Air Fund Salute to American Heroes

I can't decide on a favorite...I'm a sucker for anything Phillip Lim so Michelle might be it but I love the back of Blake's dress.  Hard choice.  I can love them all, can't I?

Remembered: An "Angel" & the King of Pop

Seriously, what a sad day. Both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson passed away today, June 25th. I hope that Ms. Fawcett can rest in peace after fighting for so long and, wow, MJ, music will seriously never be the same with him gone. I think everyone should flash a megawatt smile in honor of an "Angel" while listening to their favorite King of Pop song (mine is "Man in the Mirror").

Simply Smashing: Sienna Miller

Sienna Miller looks amazing in the new issue of Vogue.  Futuristic. Bold. Feminine. Absolutely love the choice of the background set because it really puts the main focus on her and the clothes.  So into the black dress with the cut out shoulder... "I die!" (quoted from the fab Rachel Zoe). Enough said.

Best Dressed: 2009 CFDA Awards

I seriously love any excuse to look at beautiful clothes.  The CFDA Awards always brings out beautiful people in polished designs with this year being no exception.  Some of the awards this year went to Rodarte's Kate and Laura Mulleavy for Womenswear Designer of the Year and Alexander Wang-one of my favorites-for emerging talent for Womenswear.  Check out my picks for the best dressed below...no favorite, all ladies look fab!

Blake Lively and Coco Rocha in Michael Kors

Diane Kruger in Jason Wu and Rachel Zoe in Louis Vuitton

Tallulah Willis and Hilary Rhoda in Calvin Klein; Kirsten Dunst in Rodarte

Just 'Cause...

From my Mommy :) Hope you all had a good weekend!

Recent Purchases: 2 Hits, 1 Not Sure & 1 Miss

Hit:

When I saw this on ShopBop.com on Monday I knew I had to have it!  The dress is by Tucker and is such a pretty, unusual color and has sort of a vintage feel to it.  It runs on the big side but the matching sash can be used to tighten things up.

I really love this Parker dress that I got from ShopBop.com (the picture is from Intermix).  It runs a little big so definitely size down if you're in between sizes.

Not Sure:

This Alice & Olivia color is a gorgeous poppy red but the fit on me was a little off.  It was HUGE! I got and xs and was literally swimming in it...I'm going to take it to the tailor and see if he can work some magic on it.

Miss:

I was so sad that this Rag & Bone dress didn't work out.  It's just way to big and not very flattering.  I absolutely love the floral print that shows through the top layer...Size down if you're thinking of purchasing.

Krazy For Klum

Heidi Klum recently had her editorial debut in Vogue Deutsch and she did an amazing job from the preview of photos that popped up online this week.  I'm really loving the black and white pics, very glamourous.  I hope I can find this at my local magazine stand tomorrow so I can see it all!

P.S. Can you believe that this gorgeous "Angel" has had three kids and is expecting a fourth?!  Not fair.

Makeup Review: YSL Touche Blush

On a recent trip to Sephora I came home with the YSL Touche Blush in #2 Coral.  Every time that I go to a YSL makeup counter I always look at these and debate whether or not I should get one so I finally decided to take the plunge.

It's a little pricey for a blush ($44) but I was really happy with it!  It smells like roses and has just the right amount of shimmer.

Plus the packaging is really cute and different, perfect for on the go touch ups (there is actually a built in mirror on the cap)!

Hello Gorgeous

Umm, hi gorgeous...Seriously, I don't think you can get much more stunning than this.  Bar Refaeli (aka Victoria Secret Angel and Leo's GF) looked perfect at the 2009 Young Hollywood Awards on Sunday.  Definitely some workout inspiration pics.
