Celeb Style of the Day: Kate Bosworth

Kate Bosworth has superman style and looks.  She always manages to wow on the red carpet and a lot of it has to do with her always perfect hair and simple makeup which allows the clothes to take main focus (along with Bosworth's beauty).  My favorite look is  the Calvin Klein long sleeved mini that she wore to the "Superman" premiere...stunning.

Vintage Pucci

I must own a vintage Pucci piece at some point in life.  Seeing pics of Nicole, Victoria and Mary Kate in one of their many Pucci pieces makes acquiring one even more of a priority.  I love Mary Kate's floral patterned dress because its more of an understated print for Pucci and not so obvious.  Until the time comes that I can find and afford the perfect Pucci frock, I'll have to settle for my Pucci flats and scarf.

Hair Secrets: Kerastase

To keep my color fresh after a visit at Neil George Salon  I almost exclusively use Kerastase hair products (sometimes I alternate with Davines).  I try not to shampoo too often but when I do I switch off between the Bain Chroma Riche which is for dry, highlighted hair and Bain Satin #2 or #3 for moisture.

For conditioner I use Lait Vital for everyday and then use the Chroma Riche hair mask about once a week to keep my hair in tip top shape.  I also really adore Davine's Love conditioner because of its yummy grapefruit scent.

Before every blow-dry I put the Ciment Thermique and Oleo Relax throughout the ends of my hair for heat styling protection and shine.  I'm also hearing great things about a new product that used to only be available overseas called Noctogenist which comes in a serum or cream and is used as an overnight repair product.

Kerastase can be purchased at some of my favorite salons: Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills, Osgood O'Neil Salon in Dallas and Butterfly Salon in New York.

Favorite Flowers: Peonies

I'll admit that I took a floriculture class for 2 years in elementary school (shout out to my teacher Ms. Valentine) and came away with a love for all things floral.  My absolute favorite flowers are peonies especially in shades of pink.  I think that they are so exquisite because of the fact that they are delicate and lady-like.

Baby Love

Harlow Winter Kate Madden is one of the luckiest girls in the world.  Why you might ask? Because Nicole Richie is her mommy which means that she is gonna have access to one heck of a wardrobe and with Joel Madden as her dad she'll get to go to just about any concert she wants.  So obsessed I'd babysit for free.

Smell Delicious with Flowerbomb's Bomblicious

I hate how your hair always smells like a bar after spending the night out.  My old trick was to rub dryer sheets through my hair but the smell still always came back.  With that being said, I was absolutely delighted when one of my favorite fragrances, Flowerbomb, came out with a version of  the scent designed specifically to spray on hair.  It even has a cute name, "Bomblicious," and can easily fit in your purse.

Nordstroms carries the 1 oz Bomblicious spray for $40

Celeb Style of the Day: Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron is definitely no "Monster."  While promoting her superhero flick Hancock she wore some of the most fantastic gowns and footwear to have recently graced the red carpet.  As an added plus, her supermodel good looks and body only make the ensemble even more fab.  My favorite look is the red Giambattista Valli number....perfection.

Chanel Iman

Eighteen year old model Chanel Iman is already a huge name among fashion fanatics.  She made her debut in New York's Spring Fashion Week in 2006 and has been walking the runway and gracing countless covers and editorials ever since.  Some of the campaigns that she has been apart of include Ralph Lauren, Gap, DKNY, and Bottega Veneta.  I thinking she is simply stunning and can't wait to see which runways she walks during the upcoming September 5th-12th Fashion Week.

Cult Classic: Child Perfume Oil

Child Perfume Oil has been around for almost 20 years and has rightfully gained a huge cult following among celebs and magazine editors.  Fans of the delicious jasmine scent include Britney, Ashlee, the women from the original 90210, Lindsay Lohan and me.

I got my first bottle of child for Christmas in 1999 (holy cow that was a long time ago).  I remember reading about it in People magazine and decided that Santa just had to bring it to me.  Eight years later I decided to buy another bottle and my how I've missed it!

Available at beautyhabit.com; $53 for .33 oz and $98 for 1.3 oz

High Waisted

Lauren Conrad has a lot of staples in her closet, like her Jumbo Flap Chanel and leather-like leggings, but it seems that she is most loyal to wearing items from her on line: Lauren Conrad Collection.  While I am not impressed in regards to the uniqueness of her designs, I will say that her collection has a lot of comfortable and versatile pieces (at an overpriced cost) that can be worn day or night.  Some of the items that I'm considering getting are the Gabrielle skirt (pictured above) and Cheri one shoulder dress.

Perfectly Neutral

So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley has to stay neutral in regards to the contestants on the hit show so it makes sense that she sticks to a neutral wardrobe palette.  However, the exquisite fit and unique details of her pieces keep them from being boring.  My favorite is the cream lace mini (which reminds me of the black lace Dolce and Gabanna that Britney Spears wore a few years back).

Celeb Style of the Day: Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson most definitely had the best style on The O.C. and the same goes for her real life look.  Her causal ensembles are especially genius as she opts for funky shoes and accessories that make her look perfectly put together.  Her choice of evening wear is always tailored to a t and her california girl waves makes the outfits not so contrived.  She would make Summer Roberts proud...

Style Steal: LC Sweater Wrap

I love the style of LC's sweater wrap from her own collection but could never justify the price of it.  Well guess how happy I was to score an almost exact duplicate for $20 at Forever 21!  I'll admit that Forever 21's pieces are a hit or miss but the quality on this sweater is actually really good and I love how light weight it is to travel with.

LC's version can be found on revolveclothing.com and my version can be found on Forever 21's website.

Balenciaga Beauty

Since I have an obsession with purses,  I just wanted to share a picture of the Balenciaga brief in white with gold hardware that I bought as a graduation present for myself... Scared to use it too often though because I don't want to get this beauty dirty!
