New Fragrance Obsession: Love by Kilian

I was browsing through Saks on Saturday after getting a haircut down the street and I decided to check out the By Kilian fragrances that a friend had recommended.  There are currently 7 fragrances in the collection and I was immediately drawn to one in particular, "Love (Don't Be Shy)," which smells of a delicious, grown up vanilla.  I got the purse spray set which comes with 3 refills- definitely bound to last me awhile!

Beach Baby

 

I LOVE going to the Beach (as do most people for good reasons) and the scent of coconut always reminds me of sunscreen and a sunny, Summer day.  I recently bought my friend a bday present from Kiehl's and had to go back and get the Coconut Body Lotion ($19.50) and the Lip Balm #1 in Coconut ($8.50) for myself.  

Bobbi Brown's "Beach" line also does a great job of caputuring the scent of all things relating to Summer.

My Perfume Collection

I love perfume and thought it be fun to share my collection! I'm always adding new ones but usually end up wearing the same staples.

Old Faithful: Lolita Lempicka

Lolita Lempicka is one of my all time favorite perfumes (and quite possibly my absolute favorite).  I've gone through two bottles now and I'm sure I will buy another when this one runs out.  It reminds me of vanilla and baby powder mixed with a scent that I can't describe but it takes me back to tenth grade every time I put it on (which is a good thing).

Smell Delicious with Flowerbomb's Bomblicious

I hate how your hair always smells like a bar after spending the night out.  My old trick was to rub dryer sheets through my hair but the smell still always came back.  With that being said, I was absolutely delighted when one of my favorite fragrances, Flowerbomb, came out with a version of  the scent designed specifically to spray on hair.  It even has a cute name, "Bomblicious," and can easily fit in your purse.

Cult Classic: Child Perfume Oil

 

  

Child Perfume Oil has been around for almost 20 years and has rightfully gained a huge cult following among celebs and magazine editors.  Fans of the delicious jasmine scent include Britney, Ashlee, the women from the original 90210, Lindsay Lohan and me.  

I got my first bottle of child for Christmas in 1999 (holy cow that was a long time ago).  I remember reading about it in People magazine and decided that Santa just had to bring it to me.  Eight years later I decided to buy another bottle and my how I've missed it!

Smell Like Jackie O

 

So apparently Creed created this perfume in honor of Jackie O and released it on the 4oth anniversary of her marriage to her 2nd husband... While its nice to think that the former first lady might have worn this herself the scent is so delicious that it doesn't really matter.  It smelled kind of like my favorite perfume Lolita Lempicka but a little more grown up (and with a grown up price tag). Pair with anything chic.
