Today is officially our 3rd wedding anniversary! It seems like just yesterday and so long ago at the same time [in the best way]. I am truly lucky to have the best husband, father to our baby and friend a girl could ask for! Hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day and week so far! XOXO

How I Spent My... Best Friend's Wedding Weekend

My very best friend got married on Sunday, July 7th in Santa Barbara and it was a wonderful weekend filled with lots of love! The bride looked absolutely beautiful and was glowing during all the festivities. The ceremony and reception took place at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum which is right near State Street [a really fun place to go out for food or drinks if you are ever in the area!]. We lucked out and got to wear really cute black lace bridesmaid dresses and our own shoes [I wore this pair from Zara] and she gifted us these pretty sparklers to wear on her special day. Such a perfect weekend celebrating the newlyweds! XOXO

Here is a peek at our 2011 holiday cards from Sugar Paper! 

We thought it would be nice to also make them our "Just Married" announcements so we used a wedding photo on the card and stamps.  A special touch was the dove grey letterpress and threading of the cards in light pink to match the heart and envelope liners.

Wedding: 6 Month Anniversary

 
The best day of my life was exactly half a year ago. I was surrounded by so many amazing people as I said "I do" to my best friend and the love of my life.  Happy 6 month anniversary Matt, can't wait for many more anniversaries as your wife!

Wedding: New Stationery

It's our 4 month anniversary today and I wanted to share my new stationery with my married name.  My mom got it for me for my birthday back in July and I finally received it last week- LOVE it!

My name was written in calligraphy and then letterpressed into the paper along with a fleur de lis on both the stationery and outter flap of the envelope.  I also had a fleur de lis liner added to the envelopes and gold hand painted borders added to the the stationery and envelope.

My new stationery is from my favorite paper store, Sugar Paper, who did all of our wedding paper goods- HIGHLY recommend them!

♥ Recent Outfit

One of my best friend's got married this weekend and I wore this BCBG dress with nude Louboutins and some red lipstick- Maybelline "Very Cherry" to be exact- to the rehearsal dinner Thursday night.  Nala had fun helping me get ready!
