Fabulous Friday

I'm super excited to be attending to the Lucky FAAB Conference at the end of the month! I'm a little nervous since I don't know too many people attending...as in I know 1 person. Regardless, it will be really fun to meet some of my favorite bloggers and to hear the amazing speakers that they have lined up.

{coat via Zara}
On Wednesdays we wear pink... And on Fridays.

{shoes here and bracelet unfortunately sold out but Forever21 look-a-like $ here}
Topshop has some great look-for-less versions of these Christian Louboutin Spike Loafers and this CC Skye Spike Bracelet.  Eva Chen of Teen Vogue tweeted about these shoes and they're almost $1,000 less than the Louboutin versions!

{dress by Rebecca Taylor}
Pretty palette for spring: nude paired with a pop of neon.

A quick little review of the Nike Free TR Fit 2 Sneakers: I switched over from Asics a few weeks ago and it's amazing how light weight these are in comparison.  I'm definitely still getting used to them {it almost feels like you're walking barefoot and the shoe allows for a lot more flexibility} but so far they're a nice change!

Any weekend plans? Mine is pretty wide open which I'm really looking forward to. The only thing on my agenda right now is a hair appointment for some much needed highlights... the roots are getting a little out of control! If you have any great blonde hair color inspiration photos to share, send them my way, I'd appreciate some suggestions!

P.S. Brainstorming a new giveaway for next week! XOXO

Shop Now: Rebecca Taylor Spring Collection

Python Suede Dress $795. Faux Wrap Tank Dress {coral version here} $295. Summer Blossom Dress $275. Tile Shell Top $325. Cross Back Crew Neck Sweater $250.  Knit Dress $550. Tile Print Dress $550. Tuxedo Trousers $465.

I'm a huge fan of Rebecca Taylor and was lucky enough to attend her New York Fashion Week runway show a few seasons ago.  Her pieces are always so feminine and fun! I like that she stays on top of each season's color trends but keeps the silhouettes of her pieces timeless.  I've featured some of the standouts from her spring collection above; the Faux Wrap Tank Dress and the Summer Blossom Dress were recently added to my closet thanks to the Bloomingdale's Friends and Family discount from a few weeks ago!

After seeing these images from style.com, it looks like the fall collection will be a hit too. What's your favorite Rebecca Taylor piece right now?  XOXO

Styling Solutions: Summer Abroad

The Talented Mr. Ripley is one of my favorite movies. The scenery is just breathtaking and so is Gwyenth Paltrow's look; her character's wardrobe is the epitome of easy-chicness. These pieces can be mixed and matched in any combination and the look will still be on point and polished... a perfect look for a summer abroad or a trip to the lake! I own these Sperry Metallic Boat Shoes and find that they add a hint of all American preppiness to any outfit. XOXO

How I Spent My... Weekend

Dress: Stylemint Venice in Pink. Shoes: Jimmy Choo Kerfield Booties {sold out but similar here and here}. Jewelry: Anita Ko Spike EarringsJennifer Meyer Necklace, Melanie Auld Bracelets c/o, Hermes Clic Clac and Cartier Watch.

Saturday called for a Starbucks iced coffee and a delivery from Stylemint which I promptly wore Saturday night to Taverna Tony in Malibu; the food reminded us of our honeymoon in Greece {posts here, here and here}!

Pink tulips to celebrate spring.

 A dozen macaroons from Lette in Old Town in coconut, raspberry, vanilla, salted carmel, pistachio and sweet almond wedding cake.

Easter Sunday breakfast of coffee, asian pears and strawberries before all of the day's festivities.

How was everyone's weekend? I started off Friday by going to The Raymond House and 1886 for dinner and cocktails; they have the most amazing speciality drinks! Saturday I had a picnic at the Silverlake Reservoir with my girlfriends before heading to Taverna Tony in Malibu with my hubby.  Sunday was spent with my family celebrating my Dad's birthday and Easter.  I hope you had a great one!

P.S. If you like the Melanie Auld bracelets pictured in my outfit photo then get excited for my giveaway this week! XOXO

Styling Solutions: Coachella Boho Glam

Are you one of the lucky ones attending Coachella this year? As an LA native, I'm embarrassed to admit that I have never been to the infamous music festival... need to change that asap! I wish I was going this year because there is an especially stellar lineup.  I'd love to hear Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, Florence + The Machine, Girl Talk and The Black Keys perform!  For all you country lovers, don't fret, I have a Stagecoach inspiration board coming up soon so be sure to check back in. XOXO

Fabulous Friday

Did not realize my Chanel nail polish collection had gotten this out of control. With that being said, their seasonal releases are always on trend and add such pizzaz to an otherwise basic outfit so it's totally warranted, right?

Finally bit the bullet and ordered the Current/Elliot Stiletto Leopard Jeans I was lusting after from this post.  I love their Stiletto style {no alterations needed!} and have this print and this wash on my wish list!

I was too excited to steam this out before snapping a photo; I just heart the little elephant print on this Winter Kate dress!  I'm planning on wearing it to a wedding with my Kendra Scott Danielle Earrings but am also contemplating investing in these amazing Oscar De La Renta Earrings in Turquoise or Gold.

On Wednesday I got a trim with Lisa at the Ken Paves salon and picked up some new products.  My hair has recently been a little on the dry side so she recommend this particular line from Kerastase {shampoo, conditioner and heat-activated styling treatment}.  I'm a huge Kerastase fan and also use their shampoo for highlighted hair and this shine serum.

Congratulations are in order for Hannah of What The Fashion who won the Friedasophie Giveaway! I'll be emailing you this weekend with details on your prize.  A big thank you to everyone that participated! I'm a few hours away from hitting a million page views {crazy!} and promise to do a great giveaway in honor of the occasion next week!

What is everyone's plan for the weekend? I'll be having a picnic with my best girlfriends Saturday afternoon, going on a date night with my hubby and celebrating Easter and my Dad's birthday on Sunday!  XOXO

Review: Shoemint Bridget Sandals

Nala Riggins not included with purchase.

Ready for their big reveal!

The Bridget in Leopard.

The Bridget in Blush.

I love my previous Shoemint purchases {the Jolly in Taupe and the Janice in Black} so I was really excited to see what was in the April showroom.  My immediate favorite was the Bridget sandal; it's the perfect flat for spring and summer and could easily transition through fall if the weather permits.  Both colors are great in their own way but I love anything animal print so if I'd have to choose just one I'd go with the leopard! I'm sure you'll be seeing lots of outfit posts featuring these in the near future... Are you a Shoemint member yet?

P.S. There's still time to enter my giveaway with Friedasophie {here} for your chance to win a beautiful pair of earrings! Receive extra entries for adds on FacebookPinterestCurrently ObsessedTwitter and by tweeting @nsguidetostyle about the giveaway. XOXO
