My sister is quite possibly the best party planner I know- she worked on my niece's and nephew's 4th birthday for months and it turned out perfectly!

How I Spent My... Thursday

I feel like these "How I Spent My..." posts are going to become a staple on the blog- love taking random pics throughout the day.

Finally got around to watching Food Inc. which made me oh so glad that I don't eat any sort of meat anymore!

Bought the ingredients to make Magnolia Bakery's Banana Pudding after seeing it on CupcakesandCashmere's blog this week.

Got package 1 of 2 from the Saks Friends and Family Sale. Just got some basics and love them all except for the T by Alexander Wang tank which will be returned- such a weird fit!

Picked up some new reading material (I randomly picked the book off of the bestseller shelf at Barnes & Noble).

Finally took my Cynthia Vincent for Target sandals out of the box- can't wait to get the wedge version in the mail this week after seeing them on Amber's blog!

Lit my favorite candle- seriously so yummy!

Other noteworthy events included an hour of spin class but didn't really know how to get a discreet shot of that..

TGIF! Excited to have some Mexican food and listen to some live music with the girlies tonight.

Found a spot in my room for a lovely orchid plant.

Started and finished this book- really enjoyed it.

Jean shorts and sandals proved to be a comfy trend among beauties Kristin Cavallari and Rachel Bilson.

Alessandra Ambrosio and Camilla Belle prove that boots can be transitioned easily to spring and summer when paired with the right outfit.

I really wish that I could have made it out to Coachella this year- I would have loved to seen Jay-Z, Passion Pit, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Phoenix and Florence and the Machine!
