Thank you all for checking out my blog over the past year! I started the blog a year ago today in NYC and a lot has changed since then... Let me know if you have any ideas about what you'd like to see me post about!
I am officially obsessed with the newest line of bandage skirts by Pleasure Doing Business and I'm not the only one- Rihanna, Mary Kate Olsen, Kristin Cavallari, Ashley Tisdale, Heidi Klum and Nicole Richie have all been seen sporting skirts from the line. They look very similar to the high end Herve Leger versions but they are much more wallet friendly (approximately $88). I wore my black one out last weekend (with a Yaya Aflalo top) and can't wait to wear it again!
I am beyond excited for what is sure to be the biggest fashion movie of the year: The September Issue. This documentary follows Anna Wintour and the staff of Vogue while preparing for the biggest issue of the year (hence the title). The gorgeous Charlize Theron is this year's September cover girl:
And for good measure, pictured below is Sienna Miller (the 2007 September issue cover girl) and Ms. Wintour at the New York premiere:
Opens August 28th in New York and September 11th in Los Angeles and other select cities... So happy that I will be in New York for when it comes out- I am seeing it opening day for sure!!!
The gorgeous, down to earth and talented Amanda Seyfried is featured on the September issue of Allure magazine. I loved her as the ditzy blonde in Mean Girls and adored her in the cheesy, guilty pleasure Mama Mia... The cover is perfect!
So loving this black and white shot. It definitely has a 60's/70's feel to it- Lashes? Check. Feathers? Check. Smudgy black eyeliner? Check.
Way excited to see her in the upcoming flick Jennifer's Body with Megan Fox and to get this issue in the mail-it should be on newsstands this week or next!
Rachel McAdams looks flawless in Pucci at the LA premiere of The Time Traveler's Wife. My only complaint is that I wish she would have added a little pop of color with jewelry or shoes...Regardless, she looks stunning.
Btw, I saw the movie today- it was good but not amazing. The book is seriously one of my favorite love stories ever and I just don't think that there is any way to make a movie up to par with the novel... Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana were cast perfectly though!
Lots of the variety in the fashion scene at the Teen Choice Awards: Leighton Meester taking a risk in Louis Vuitton. Kim Kardashian sporting some surprising new locks. Kristen Bell in a TopShop jumper paired with Vera Wang and Jennifer Meyer jewelry. Amanda Bynes in her stand by Herve Leger. Ashley Tisdale in a Used/Unused dress and the studded Louboutins I've been drooling over.
Overall everyone looks really cute and appropriate for the teen award show which airs August 6th at 8pm on Fox.
Ashlee Simpson looks great at the 2009 TCA CW Summer Press Tour for her new show Melrose Place. She sported a Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent jumper and Balenciaga heels. The small details like her jewelry and black nail polish really tie the look together. I also appreciate the fact that she is flaunting her gorgeous pale skin during the summer!
I can't say enough good things about the T3 Featherweight Dryer that I picked up at Sephora a month ago. I have straight, thick hair and this has not only cut down on my drying time but has also made my hair smoother and sleeker (which means that I'm using my straightener a lot less). It's a bit pricey but I would definitely consider it a great investment!
I think J. Simp looks absolutely adorable on and in Glamour's September 2009 issue! I adore the outfit she is wearing on the cover- she makes that Gucci jacket look a lot more accessible than the full suit version Sienna Miller recently wore. I also love the Anita Ko jaguar ring she is sporting...apparently she gave her mom and sister matching ones for Mother's day!
Burberry coat and Jessica Simpson collection shoes
Valentino dress and Kain tank
Siwy jeans and a Lauren by Ralph Lauren turtleneck
Lauren by Ralph Lauren top

Sienna Miller has not only done a great job of promoting her upcoming G.I. Joe film but also of showcasing her stellar fashion sense. I love that nothing she wears is predictable- dresses, platforms, skirts, booties, high waisted pants, scarves, sunnies- and everything always screams fun.
Can't wait to see what she wears this week while continuing to promote, I'm sure it will be worthy of another post.
