TGIF! This is my lust wish list this Christmas [emphasis on lust!]. I always love coffee table books and beauty products that I normally wouldn't buy for myself and this is something I'm giving as gifts [in Blondie] that I'd be happy to receive as well. I also think that these Coordinate Collections bracelets are a really neat idea to remember a special place ... they are customized so you pick the size, metal, coordinate location, and optional date + gemstone [I'd go for the gold legend bracelet with our wedding location, date and diamond accent]. Hudson officially switched over to a big boy bed so his room is going through a mini update now that some of his baby stuff is packed away [can't believe it!]. We still have this West Elm rug and this House Inhabit teepee in his room [along with the RH Baby + Child Toy Bin and The Animal Print shop photos pictured above] but added some new accents [simple, all white Pottery Barn Kids sheets and laundry hamper not pictured]. Looking forward to sharing some new room photos soon once it's all complete! XOXO

Next weekend we are taking some family photos for our holiday cards [can't believe Thanksgiving + Christmas are coming up!] and I think I've settled on a look and color scheme! Last year we dressed in white and cream so this year I went with white with a pop of navy. Hudson's outfit took priority and I fell in love with these Zara Kids Trousers so I worked the rest of our looks around his... It's hard to tell in the image above but the suspenders have little white polka dots on them which will be a perfect match to the men's J.Crew Navy Pin Dot Button Up [I also grabbed this navy button up as an option for my husband]. This would be a great outfit combo for Thanksgiving or Christmas too! What is your family wearing for your holiday cards if you are sending them out this year?

Gal Meets Glam blogger Julia posted some of her skincare favorites on Instagram a few weeks ago and I had to look into her recommendations - she seriously has the most beautiful skin so I figured she must know what she's talking about! Arcona is a skincare brand that that uses live, active ingredients and contains no parabens, perfumes, dyes, or fillers. I recently picked up a few products at Nordstroms but if you are in the LA area they also have a studio in Santa Monica where they do facial treatments [hoping to make it over there one weekend soon for a review].

Two recent outfits, one for a special occasion and one for everyday errands. I've gotten so much use out of these Marni sandals and these shorts this summer [tip on the shorts: size down! I sold my regular size through my blog and bought a size smaller for this fit. Even though they are a "boyfriend" short they run large]. Oops, just realizing my Friday post never went through... Labor Day weekend we had some friends over for a wine tasting night which was a lot of fun and a nice excuse to use our wedding crystal! My girlfriends and I have been following The New York Times Wine School Column and red zinfandel was next on our list to try. I wasn't able to find all the wines that were recommended but picked up some substitutes... we tried Predator Old Vines Zinfandel, Ridge Lytton Springs 2011, Frog's Leap 2009 and The Prisoner Saldo. I can honestly say I've never thought to order a glass of zinfandel at a restaurant before our tasting but now I have a new appreciation for it [of the bunch, the Saldo was my favorite!]. How I Spent My... Labor Day Weekend

We spent Saturday through Monday at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara and had a great time... it was our 5th year visiting and just as much fun as always! We pretty much just relaxed and stayed at the hotel except for one trip out to have a casual dinner at Freebirds [where they make the best nachos ever]. Friday night we hosted a wine tasting night at our house and I will share a little recap tomorrow... Hope you had a great 3 day weekend! XOXO
