Makeup Review: YSL Touche Blush

On a recent trip to Sephora I came home with the YSL Touche Blush in #2 Coral.  Every time that I go to a YSL makeup counter I always look at these and debate whether or not I should get one so I finally decided to take the plunge.

 

 It's a little pricey for a blush ($44) but I was really happy with it!  It smells like roses and has just the right amount of shimmer. 

 

Plus the packaging is really cute and different, perfect for on the go touch ups (there is actually a built in mirror on the cap)!

Umm, hi gorgeous...Seriously, I don't think you can get much more stunning than this.  Bar Refaeli (aka Victoria Secret Angel and Leo's GF) looked perfect at the 2009 Young Hollywood Awards on Sunday.  Definitely some workout inspiration pics.

New Fragrance Obsession: Love by Kilian

I was browsing through Saks on Saturday after getting a haircut down the street and I decided to check out the By Kilian fragrances that a friend had recommended.  There are currently 7 fragrances in the collection and I was immediately drawn to one in particular, "Love (Don't Be Shy)," which smells of a delicious, grown up vanilla.  I got the purse spray set which comes with 3 refills- definitely bound to last me awhile!

Budget Friendly: Forever 21

Ran into Forever 21 on Sunday for the first time in ages...  I try to limit what I buy from this store because it's easy to go overboard with the low prices but it's the perfect place to try out fun, trendy pieces!  Plus the price tags are hard to beat- I got all of this stuff for $75!  My favorite item is the gold, chunky, floral necklace pictured top left.

Best Dressed: 2009 MTV Movie Awards

 

I was sadly disappointed with the majority of the fashion choices at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, BUT the few who dressed to impress looked fabulous! Leighton Meester and Sienna Miller were by far the best dressed in my opinion.  I just adore both of them so I was happy that they actually put some effort into their wardrobes for the night.  Leighton wore a racy Emilio De La Moreno frock and Sienna dazzled in green dress from her own line, Twenty8Twelve.

Product Obsession: Neil George Hair Products

  

My favorite hair place, the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills, recently launched their hair product line which I love and now alternate with my old favorites from Kerastase.  The products that I use from the line are the Detangle Nourishment Spray ($24) and the Indian Gooseberry Treatment Oil ($42) but the Illuminating Shampoo and Conditioner ($22 and $24) are also great for dry, color-treated hair.  Give them a go!

  

My Only Birthday Wish

Pretty, please.  All I want for my 23rd birthday (my Golden birthday) is this Jennifer Meyer Initial Necklace.  So simple and chic.

I am super obsessed with this House of Harlow 1960 necklace made by the uber stylish Nicole Richie.

I love the fact that Nicole actually wears things from her line and more than once.  Very refreshing.  Buy this necklace here.

  

Best Dressed: 2009 Cannes Film Festival

  

Angelina Jolie in Versace.  Evangeline Lilly in Valentino.  Eva Longoria in Versace Altelier.  All 3 looked absolutely stunning.  The red lips are perfection with Angelina's all nude outfit, Evangeline brings fierce ombre color to the red carpet and Eva is simply couture perfection.  Bravo.

Obsession: Jet's Destroyed Denim

   

I'm still loving the destroyed denim look (thanks to Current/Elliot denim) and my new obsession is Jet Denim's Trashed Jeans in Dark Clean.  These babies have been seen on Heidi Montag, Nicole Richie, Nicky Hilton and Lindsay Lohan just to name a few.
