Recent Purchases: Reviews

Madewell Scarves
Review: The grey pastel scarf was on sale and is so unique in person! The scarf on the right looks great with navy- I'm thinking of rocking it with the dress posted below or my navy/white stripe J.Crew long sleeve T.

Madewell Tank Dress and H&M "Garden Collection" Dress
Review: Madewell dress is an XS and is a loose fit- great to just throw on and go! This H&M "Garden Collection" dress was only $12.95! I got an XS and it is big in the elastic area but nothing a belt can't fix.

Joie "Turn Me Loose" Studded Sandals and "Rock Steady" Fringe Booties (shopbop.com)
Review: The studded sandals runs a half size big in my opinion. I am normally an 8 in flats (sometimes 8.5 in heels) and got a 7.5 in them. The fringe booties run a little more true to size and I took an 8. I definitely think these will be a summer staple!

AKA New York Leopard Top (Intermix)
Review: A loose, slouchy fit. It hits at a nice length so it would look cute with jeans, leggings or shorts. I got a petite.

Myne Tunic (Nordstroms)
Review- I purchased this awhile ago and it runs a tad large, got a 0 and the straps are a little too long and they aren't adjustable- would be a really simple alteration, I just need to make time to go to the tailor.

Nanette Lepore Dress (Bloomingdales)
Review: I haven't bought anything from Nanette Lepore in awhile but this was SO cute on! I got a 0 and it fits perfectly. I love the little pockets on the sides of the dress.

Rebecca Taylor Dresses (purchased wholesale but available on rebeccataylor.com)
Review: All dresses are a size 0 and all are big in my opinion. I will have to get them altered some but they are so cute and just scream spring and summer to me! I think the most versatile ones are the red floral and the navy floral since you could wear them day or night, no problem. The pink one could be dressed down but is pretty dressy since it has the full skirt and is strapless. The orange ruffle dress would be perfect for a wedding!

Parker "Bustier" Dress (Saks)
Review: Still waiting for this to arrive so no "real life" picture but I tried it on in another print and loved it! I got a petite and will need to take in the sides just a tad but it is such a fun dress that could be worn for so many occasions!

Love the Madewell scarves. And I got the same dress at H&M but in the black and I love it. I had the same problem with the fit, but I put a belt on and it looked even cuter.

Thanks for sharing your new items with us.
