Leopard can be a great accent to any basic outfit as long as it isn't paired in a cliche way (i.e. red lips). I love how Kate Moss (who can make pretty much anything work) makes the most of her simple black outfits with a splash of leopard. Try a scarf or a pair of leopard pumps if you are just starting off and save the leopard coat for bigger occasions.
