I'm 28 weeks today and starting my 7th month in the third trimester. It's crazy how quickly the weeks are flying by! We are starting to get all of our baby essentials for the home and nursery and I've been drawn towards organic and natural products when possible. 

I was excited to be able to see The Honest Company's products up close at The Pump Station & Nurtury {an adorable store with three locations that also offers breastfeeding and baby classes} in West Hollywood and was really impressed with the collection. The packaging is adorable and clean looking and the owners of the shop said that they have been getting great feedback on the products. I got some cleaning necessities along with a few Dapple products and will report back once I'm able to use them! 

The Apple + Bee organic cotton items are from Giggle and I thought they'd be perfect for our diaper bag. They also have an adorable pink and yellow giraffe print if you're expecting or have a baby girl. I'm planning on doing a post about all the products in my diaper bag closer to my due date!

And while this last item isn't "organic," I was happy to pick up The Bar Method Pregnancy Set during one of the Gilt Group sales a few weeks ago. I've taken classes 2-4 times a week for a few years now and have continued to do so throughout my pregnancy {with my Dr.'s ok} and like having the option of doing it at home if I can't make it to my normal class. I'm sure this will come in handy the last few weeks before baby arrives!

Although we might be back up to 80 degrees next week in LA, I'm excited that the weather is slowly starting to cool down and it's finally beginning to feel a little more like fall. I'm loving a neutral color palette of cream, nude, black, and olive paired with a splash of leopard or pop of color like this jeweled Dannijo necklace. Btw, did you know that Nordstrom now carries a small capsule collection of Topshop online and in stores? I picked up this dress last week which is something that will be easy to wear during and post pregnancy. XOXO

This past weekend we got to celebrate and watch two of our best friends get married! It was an amazing weekend and we were so excited to be a part of all the events. We also took our hospital tour in anticipation of baby boy's arrival... 27 weeks down and officially in the third trimester! Recipe: Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Muffins

Some of the star ingredients for an October treat.

All mixed up and ready to bake.

I made Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Muffins with this recipe {omitted the ginger and added semi sweet chocolate chips} this past weekend and they turned out yummy enough to share! To turn the recipe from bread to muffins I cooked them for 22-25 minutes and left them in the pan for 5 minutes before cooling on a wire rack. A warning: this makes a ton of muffins so try halving the ingredients if you don't plan on freezing or sharing the extras. XOXO
