Best Dressed: 2009 SAG Awards

  

 

I didn't watch the actual SAG Awards, but I of course checked out the fashion on the red carpet.  Evan Rachel Wood has been looking great recently and she continued her hot streak Sunday night.  Amy Adams and January Jones also looked fabulous as usual and rounded out my top 3 favorites.  Olivia Wilde, Christina Applegate and America Ferrera all looked lovely as well, earning them honorable mention among the best dressed.

Come On, Vogue

Although Blair Waldorf will always be my favorite Gossip Girl, Serena, aka Blake Lively, does look pretty glamorous on and in the newest issue of Vogue.  I'm still a little confused as to why the most prestigious magazine would make Lively their cover girl, but there is no denying that she does old Hollywood glam extremely well.  You know you love me, xoxo...

WOW!  I was pleasantly surprised with all the beautifully dressed women at the 2009 Golden Globes.  The very best dressed of the night was a 3-way tie between Cameron Diaz in Haute Chanel Couture, Eva Mendes in Dior and Maggie Gyllenhaal in Lanvin.  Honorable mention goes to Vanessa Hudgens, Eva Longoria, and Kate Beckinsale who all looked sophisticated and flawless.

It was a winter wonderland at the Art of Elysium Heaven Gala on Saturday.  Eva Mendes, Sophia Bush and Nicole Richie all wore shades of creamy white and looked gorgeous.  Post on the Golden Globes best dressed coming up next!

A Chanel Christmas!

I just got my Vintage Chanel Jumbo XL Lambskin purse yesterday in the mail! I absolutely love it and already took it out last night.  I had been contemplating getting a Chanel flap bag for some time and knew I just had to have this one when I saw Posh and Nicole Richie carrying it.

  

Best Dressed: 2009 Critic's Choice Awards

 

Angelina Jolie, Kate Beckinsale and Amanda Bynes all looked stunning at the 2009 Critic's Choice Awards this past Thursday.  Angie kept it minimal and effortless in Max Azria and Amanda rocked a Herve Leger bandage dress from his resort line.  Kate Beckinsale was, by far, the #1 best dressed of the night in a deep purple dress accented with bold bangles and earrings.

Kate Winslet aka half of "Titanic's" Rose/Jack duo has been looking radiant recently!  In these new pics from February 2009's Elle UK, Kate credits her new body to pilates... BTW just saw her in the new movie "The Reader" and she is phenomenal.

Yes, Yellow!

Yellow is my go to color whenever I want a little cheerful pick me up.  Citrus, sunflower, lemon, sunshine, each shade always delivers.  Kate Hudson looks adorable and much improved from a few months ago in a bright lemon dress for Elle's February 2009 cover.  Eva Mendes rocks a yellow, beautifully beaded Bill Blass (once again) for a premiere for "The Spirit."  Both ladies look fantastic!

Marc Jacobs has been apart of the Louis Vuitton team for some time now and LV can give him credit for revamping some of their classic bags into current obsessions.  On January 6th a line of special edition bags will launch in honor of the death of Stephen Sprouse (famous for his collaboration with MJ on the graffiti bags a few years back).  The line will include neon pink, orange and green graffiti bags along with a few pieces adorned with painted roses. HAPPY 2009!

Started the night off with a Blueberry Stoli, Soda Water and lime drink...and ended with unnecessary shot! I had such a great time with all my friends having dinner together and then going to a NYE party of beer pong, flipcup, and kings.  Cheers to 2009!
