I absolutely love J.Crew's jewelry line. They always have great, bold accessories that are the perfect little something something to jazz up a basic outfit. I especially loved the pearl and crystal necklace and this piece from the mint green themed case pictured above.

The coral and red case also had some amazing pieces. I loved this chunky orbit necklace as well as the coral beaded tassel necklace. My favorite piece is the crystal venus flytrap necklace that I featured in this post.

These friendship bracelets were also great- perfect to add to your favorite stack of arm candy and also really affordable! Sadly, they aren't online but check back this weekend for a chance to win one in my next giveaway.

The weather has been gorgeous this week. We've had some beautiful sunsets at the end of each day!

The runway version of this Dolce & Gabbana spring 2011 dress was one of my favorites of the season and was worn by Diane Kruger, Kate Bosworth, model Alessandra Ambrosio and Vogue Japan editor Anna Dello Russo. Luckily, Joie produced a similar dress at a more affordable price for spring 2012. LOVE! The Joie version also come in black and blush {in stores at Neiman Marcus} if the white doesn't work for your wardrobe. Pair it with Jennifer Fisher's snake cuff to get a similar look to the photo at left or rock it with an amazing pair of Kendra Scott "Danielle" earrings in your favorite color. XOXO

Robin Miller's Vegetarian Chili

{I substituted quinoa for the couscous and added red pepper flakes and extra chili powder.}

Quinoa with garbanzo beans, feta and chopped red pepper dressed with lemon juice, olive oil, white truffle oil and oregano. Salt and pepper to taste.

{ I halved the recipe and it made 12 muffins. I also omitted the shredded coconut.}

Valentine's Day is still a few weeks away but it's never too early to rock an inspired look featuring some of my favorite colors: lipstick red, blush and nude. I think my favorite pairing is the Kain Silk Tank, Tucker Printed Pants and Oscar De La Renta Earrings- this would also look great with a chambray shirt or basic white t-shirt depending on where you're going!

They're a bold look. With that being said, I have been loving these Current/Elliot leopard denim pants for a few months now and keep thinking about them. They come in an array of colors {original, grey, red, pink, blue, mint, sapphire} which makes them all the more tempting since there is an appropriate hue for every season and situation.

I love them paired with the neutral tops and blazers as seen above and think they would be great with a bootie {like these or these} or a classic pump {like these} for both day and night!

I think I might bite the bullet but am having a hard time choosing between the original {classic} and the pink {great for spring and summer}. Let me know your thoughts by leaving me a comment or by tweeting me at nsguidetostyle! XOXO

I was so thrilled to receive my ShoeMint shoes last week; So happy to support my mentor and friend Nicole Chavez on her new project!

The ingredients... carrots, who knew?!

On Sunday I decided to cook something for dinner for the hubby and was having a craving for some warm soup. After a few searches, I came across this recipe for Tomato Basil Soup inspired by the one served in the Nordstrom Cafe. An accompanying grilled cheese was a must (the secret trick is to hand grate the cheese instead of using slices. I used sharp cheddar and pepper jack on sourdough bread). Enjoy!

Smashbox Camera Ready Full Coverage Concealer in 3.0: I have been loyal to my Cleu De Peau concealer for a long time now and while the tube lasts for forever I was starting to feel like it disappeared too soon after applying. I saw this in a magazine recommended by makeup artist Joyce Bonelli and thought I'd give it a shot.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bettina (color not shown): The color was the perfect natural pink in the store and it seemed like it would be a good and quick alternative to lipstick/gloss.

Benefit Yes They're Real! Mascara: I'm a huge mascara junkie so I really hope that this lives up to all the hype it's gotten.

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey: I think this was the first lip product I ever used and thought I'd retry it for the upcoming holiday season.

Review: Missoni For Target

I finally received the majority of my Missoni for Target order and thought it'd be fun to give a little review! Overall, I am super pleased with the quality of everything especially for the prices. I think my favorite things are the two trays, foldable makeup bag and the blue multi color zig zag sweater! The only thing I wasn't in love with was the rainboots mainly because they were too big in the calves on me and I have a Jimmy Choo for Hunter pair I like better.

Wedding: New Stationery

It's our 4 month anniversary today and I wanted to share my new stationery with my married name. My mom got it for me for my birthday back in July and I finally received it last week- LOVE it!

My name was written in calligraphy and then letterpressed into the paper along with a fleur de lis on both the stationery and outter flap of the envelope. I also had a fleur de lis liner added to the envelopes and gold hand painted borders added to the the stationery and envelope.

My new stationery is from my favorite paper store, Sugar Paper, who did all of our wedding paper goods- HIGHLY recommend them!

I got this recipe from my sister's Martha Stewart magazine October issue and thought it be fun to share with you all... In a total blonde moment, I just realized I used butternut squash instead of sweet potatoes... haha major fail on my part! That's probably why I thought it was a tad off- it was still good but if you make it I would use the sweet potatoes like the recipe asked for.

Sorry for the radio silence for the last few days: I am in one of my best friend's wedding this weekend (so excited for her and her fiance!) and we adopted this little babe from the Pasadena Humane Society on Sunday!

Her name is Nala Riggins (we are big Friday Night Lights fans!) and she is 2 months old and weighs in at 2 lbs. She is so happy to be in her new home! I haven't introduced her to Boots yet (me and my Dad's cat- she lives with my Dad) but I know they would love each other!

The eagerly anticipated "Missoni for Target" line launched in the middle of the night (I got 2 hours of sleep last night!) and I was at my computer ready to do some damage and this is what I scored... I'm obsessed with the home goods- these will be a great option for outdoor and casual dining!

I figure I can always return what doesn't work out or give to friends (or readers!). I also went into 3 Targets today because there were a few things I wanted (plates, bowls and possibly the carry on suitcase) but there was not one thing left!
